This position is with a trucking and brokerage transportation company and requires knowledge and experience with CUSTOMER SERVICE and DISPATCH for shipments of freight.
REQUIREMENTS
- Good knowledge of Over the Road (OTR) trucking operations
- Good ability to deal with truck drivers
- Understanding of HOS - Hours of Service - laws and application
- Knowledge of Third Party Logistics (3PL or freight brokerage) business
- Experience with sophisticated trucking computer system
- Competency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel reqd
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Self starter, needs little supervision
